Other Things Women Do Besides Gossiping

Many of my friends had returned from their vacations and we had a gathering today. There were 7 of us (one was down with sore throat). We decided we should learn how to cook Burmese cuisine. It was our practice to each contribute some ingredients so some came with chicken, vegetables, fish etc. We started the day with fried bee hoon. That was supposedly to be our breakfast (at about 12pm). Then we started making lunch (how to not grow fat man!). All thanks to our Myanmar friend that within an hour, a full Burmese lunch was ready. It was so good that I had forgotten to take pictures of it. After lunch, we got on to plan for next week's menu and it was decided....ban mee! Honestly, I really miss Singapore because such foods are so readily available. Nonetheless, absence makes the heart grows fonder. The unavailability forces us to seek alternatives and in this case, putting our knowledge together and be our own chef. Cheers to US!
